LeRoy Man Charged
The LeRoy Police Department charged two men in connection with an incident at the Eagle Hotel on January 23, 2011. Thomas B. Streamer, 40 yoa of 28 Grove Street, Warsaw and Thomas W. Sherman, 41 yoa of 108 North Street, LeRoy were both charged with one count of Assault in the 2nd degree a Class D Felony. It is alleged that both men were involved in an altercation with a 37-year old LeRoy man which resulted in the LeRoy man sustaining serious physical injuries. The LeRoy man sustained shoulder, head and facial injuries during the incident and was treated at UMMC in Batavia. Both men were arraigned in LeRoy Town Court and released to the supervision of Genesee Justice to appear at a later date. Further arrests are pending.
